I got my nostril pierced yesterday and im meeting a guy 2morow. How should I apply my foundation & powder?

I know it must sound a bit silly but im just wondering if theres a way to do it as ive heard makeup can infect the wound.

just avoid tthat little bit of area. use a sponge to apply foundation and smooth with your fingers just beyond the area. same wth powder, use on cheeks, chin and forehead, but just on bridge of nose. use a cotton bud to clear any stray bits near the piercingI got my nostril pierced yesterday and im meeting a guy 2morow. Yes, you musn't get powder etc nr your piercing as it will get infected. If you dab some Savlon on the area it will take the redness down. I'm sure he wouldn't notice it anyway, it's you that know its there and it probably doesnt show much. He probably be noticing your eyes more than anything else!

Use a small size lip brush to apply (';paint';) makeup around piercing, leave the powder off so it dont look ';cakey';. This will draw unwanted attention and make you look skanky, dirty, unkempt.
Try putting it on a cotton bud and dabbing round about it.
I would say very lightly, as you dont want it to clog to much in that area and it could cause infection.

dont put make up near it it will definately get infected and im sure that a green pussy nostril is a lot more unattractive than you with no foundation or powder on your face!!
when you're doing your foundation on your nose, use your finger so you can carefully put it on without the bulk of a sponge so you know exactly where you're putting it. same with the powder, and avoid putting it around the ring, he won't notice half a mm of your nose not being covered in makeup. good luck!
I got my nose pierced about a month or so ago, and the piercer told me I can wear makeup as long as you don't put it close to the piercing. Hope I helped :)
i would say put it on a cotton bud and gentley put it round
the way I do it even today is I put my left pinky over the piercing.while I use my sponge if your not sure you can do this try putting a gob of neosporin over it get close but not over use a q-tip to remove extra neosoprin you'll be fine,have fun on the date.
Try to avoid the piercing as much as possible, and clean it when you get home, just incase. 'cause you can never be too careful.


you could probably skip out on putting makeup on your entire nose and get away with it unnoticed, as long as your makeup matches your skintone.
