It is not ';converted into concrete';. It is an ingredient in the making of concrete. The others being sand, gravel and water.
A general mix for concrete is 2 or 3 parts sand to 1 part cement. Gravel is added to this mix at up to 7 parts gravel to 1 part sand/ cement mix. (Gravel is only a sort of 'filler' and plays no part in the chemical process of hydration which makes concrete go hard)How is cement powder converted into concrete?
