How do i make chocolate chip cookies without baking powder?

Do you have baking soda?

Edit: You don't need it. Self rising flour has baking powder in it. Just follow the recipe and omit the baking powder.

(I wasn't quite sure what self rising flour was. I looked it up on wikipedia. Here is what it said: Self-rising or self-raising flour is ';white'; wheat flour or wholemeal flour that is sold premixed with chemical leavening agents. It was invented by Henry Jones. It can also be substituted by Maida when cooking Indian Cuisine. Typical ratios are the following:

* a pinch to 陆 teaspoon salt

Metric:

* 100 g flour

* 3 g baking powder

* 1 g or less salt)How do i make chocolate chip cookies without baking powder?
You need baking powder, because that's what makes them rise. Without it, it just won't really turn out right. Although, you can try it, I don't think it'll end up well. :(
if you have self raising flour you will be alright....baking powder is to help them rise which is exactly what the flour will do.
