Can you still powder your nose if it's pierced?

I'm considering getting my nose pierced (not the septum), and i was wondering if make up would cause infections?





I understand that I still have to clean it regularly just like an ear piercing, but even with good cleaning, would it still prove to be a concern?Can you still powder your nose if it's pierced?
