It depends how heavy the powder is.
There are two conversions for grams to ounces. In Avoirdupois weight, there are slightly more than 28 grams in an ounce. So you are talking about a smidgeon over two ounces. Avoirdupois is the common measurement for weights in most English speaking countries, and covers pretty well everything except precious metals and medicines. In Troy weight, an ounce is 31 grams. So 45 grams would be about an ounce and a half. So you have to know which measuring system the 45 grams are in. As far as measuring out your protein, the precise measurement won't be that critical, so you could probably average it out at two ounces.
